Gardens, a Gazebo and a New Waterfall

The outdoor spaces at Chef's Event Center were renovated right along with the hall: formal gardens, a lit gazebo, a pond with a fountain, a multi-level deck and our new stone waterfall, all a short walk from the banquet hall and just 20 minutes from downtown Rochester.

The Gazebo and Gardens

The gazebo is where most ceremonies happen, framed by the formal gardens and open lawn. Couples decorate it with florals and draping, or leave it exactly as it is. Either way it photographs beautifully from every angle, and it doubles as shelter if a passing shower rolls through.

Our New Waterfall

The newest addition to the property is a stone waterfall feature, and it has quickly become one of the most photographed spots we have. It gives your photographer moving water and natural stone to work with, and it gives guests somewhere to gather with a drink during cocktail hour.

The Pond and the Deck

The pond and its fountain give the wider, more cinematic photographs their depth, and it is a quiet place to slip away to for ten minutes when the day gets loud. The multi-level party deck is where cocktail hour tends to live, with enough room to spread a large guest list out rather than bottling everyone into a lobby.

Every Outdoor Option in One Place

At Chef's Event Center & Party House, you have many outdoor settings and options as you plan out each unique event element, from photos to reception lines to cocktail hours. Ceremony on the lawn, cocktails on the deck, photos at the waterfall and the gardens, then dinner inside the banquet hall, all without anyone getting back into a car.

Weather Is Handled

Upstate New York being what it is, every outdoor plan here comes with an indoor one. If the weather turns, your ceremony moves inside and our staff resets the room during cocktail hour. You do not organize any of it.
