An Event Venue Minutes From Greece, NY

Greece is the largest suburb in Monroe County, and it is short on one specific thing: a private event property with real grounds. Hotel ballrooms and restaurant back rooms can seat a crowd, but they come with a lobby full of strangers and a parking lot you share. Chef's Event Center & Party House is about 15 minutes west of Greece in Spencerport, on 10 private acres, and we book one event at a time.

For Greece couples and families, that proximity does real work. Your guests drive 15 minutes and sleep in their own beds. Grandparents are not navigating downtown Rochester at night. Your vendors are local. And nobody has to pay for a hotel block just to attend a wedding in their own county.

The Space

The banquet hall was recently remodeled and seats up to 325 guests, with three walls of windows and a dance floor built for a full room. Outside, the grounds include formal gardens, a gazebo, a pond, and a multi-level deck, which is where most ceremonies and cocktail hours happen. The full-service bar is run by professional bartenders, and parking is free and plentiful.

What We Host For Greece Families

Weddings and receptions are the bulk of it, but a lot of what fills our calendar from Greece is everything else: bridal and baby showers, milestone birthdays, graduation parties, anniversary dinners, retirement parties, class and family reunions, and funeral luncheons and celebrations of life. Company holiday parties and sales meetings come through too, on the corporate side.

We just had our wedding reception here about a month ago. It was absolutely the best decision! The place is absolutely beautiful inside and out.

Chef's Catering operates in house, so your tasting, your menu, and the people plating your dinner are all the same team. That is unusual for a venue this size and it is the reason food comes up in nearly every review we get. Start with the sample menus, then we build yours from there.

Getting Here From Greece

We are at 1875 North Union Street in Spencerport, NY 14559, roughly 15 minutes from most of Greece depending on where you start. Ridge Road and Route 31 both get you here without touching the expressway, which matters when you have older guests driving at night.
